Discover the Light in Your Child
The light bulb is the symbol of invention and sometimes of intelligence. Light bulbs are often used to describe scientific discovery and what we perceive as genius.
A recent case study showed that just the presence of a bare, traditional filament light bulb, inspired a physiological response to solve problems quicker and inspire creativity quicker than exposure to the commonly used fluorescent light bulb.
Light bulbs also symbolize divine enlightenment and grace. In contrast to the storm that symbolizes double mindedness and doubt, the light bulb is an answer to the conflict that is usually baffling because you can’t believe you didn’t think of it before.
It is a strengthening force that lights up the true path. God’s grace is always a gift and can’t be earned, so there is a process which we go through where we attempt to find the solution to a problem through sheer will. After this storm passes, the clouds are cleared away and the light of God breaks through, which symbolizes Jesus Christ.
An old anonymous saying goes, “if you look for the light in a situation, you will find it. If you always look at the darkness, that’s all you’ll ever see.” This speaks to light representing the inevitable positive result of a journey.
In dreams: – A light bulb is a dream symbol of understanding and knowledge. Turning on the light bulb in a room is indicative of understanding the reality around you and being able to interact with it effectively and with full understanding.
Light is frequently used as a symbol of faith – throughout the pages of the Bible, light is used to convey wisdom, truth, and even God Himself.
