Creighton University Men's Basketball Creative (2013 - present)
2021 marks our 9th Season working with Creighton University Athletics. Our partnership with the athletic department has grown from video work for the historical 2013 season in a new conference with a national player of the year, to assistance in design elements and social media animations. We're excited for what's to come for the department, and continue to put our all into production and creative direction for each season's gameday look & feel.
WHAT WE CREATE
Gameday arena video experience (including: Tunnel walk videos, starting lineup animations, tip-off videos, team brand ID), social media animations (multiplatform), schedule posters, media guide covers, program covers and season ticket designs.
2020 Season Creative
2020's creative production met an obstacle in the form of limited fan admittance on gameday. The pandemic had all but crippled the ability to have fans cheering in the seats at CHI Health Arena. Not only that, but our production staff were not able to group together to shoot on location with the team. Regardless, the team needed to be fired up and all the fans would be at home waiting to view all the content that gameday had to offer, so we went to work.
The bank of in-arena content was reduced to brand image/logo roll, a tipoff video and lineups video. Every piece would be cut from footage the school shot, or the previous year's game footage. The school used crowd noise sourced from a popular video game studio, and the combination of all elements gave the players the hype-up they needed.For social content, we created gameday, victory, lineup, player ID/spotlights and game reminders that refreshed throughout the season.
The season continued in a new format, and we were able to pump up the players, all the way to their postseason run. Fans at home got to see the arena content mirrored on their social pages, and the 2020-21 Bluejays season had a little something to keep everyone going.
Men's Basketball 2018 - 19 Creative
Our valued partners at Creighton University came to us for the fifth year of Men's Basketball creative. This project always presents the challenge of creating something new and different from the year prior. For the 2018-19 season we incorporated a retro inspired aesthetic where photography and illustration combine to create an interesting dichotomy of visuals.
