Creighton Men’s Basketball

The Challenge

Create an engaging season identity for Creighton University Men’s Basketball, encompassing gameday arena animations/video (24 screens simultaneously), season tickets, outdoor boards, commercials, programs and guides. Conduct shoots and provide deliverables prior to each season starting.

The Approach

Each season for 10 years, we worked alongside the athletic department to develop a creative direction for the Tunnel Walk and animations. Every piece in sequence branched from that core piece. We’d meet 6 months in advance and begin development. Every part of our agency from crew and location to copy, edit and design, were involved in helping Creighton Basketball elevate their presence with fans.

Impact

1123 was asked back to produce this rich gameday experience for 10 straight seasons—including the 2020 pandemic season, which saw us overcoming additional challenges. An average of 19,000 people saw our work each home game in-person, and the atmosphere was always electric.
